Chitanistar(R) has been accepted in a paper by the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine.
Acceptance of paper publication in the International Medical Journal! Introduction to the adoption and efforts of 'Titanistar(R)' in biological surgery.
This is an introduction to a case study on the efforts to apply the photocatalytic material "Titanistar(R)" in biomedical surgery, in collaboration with the Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine's Department of Orthopedics. In orthopedic surgeries at this department, there have been instances of inflammation occurring at the site of skin incisions post-surgery. After various antibacterial tests and other initiatives, titanium pins used in orthopedic surgery were treated with Titanistar, and comparative tests were conducted against untreated titanium pins. As a result, surgeries using Titanistar-treated titanium pins showed significant advantages, with nearly 100 cases performed to date. This achievement has been accepted for publication in the "Titanistar(R)" International Medical Journal. It is rare in the photocatalytic industry to directly attach a material to the human body to activate photocatalytic functions, and this recognition was due to the safety and high performance of "Titanistar(R)." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
